Meet Project Christine by Razor, the world's first modular PC, sure geeks would prefer to build their own PC from scratch, I used to do so as well, most of my older PC were custom built to save money, but the Razor brings custom options to the mainstream.
The system is not only customizable, it's also upgradeable, have an outdated graphic card? Swap it! Need a faster processor Swap it! It's like Motorola's Project Ara phone concept.
But then again, the mainstream people who buy mainstream computers probably wouldn't buy a customer build PC right? So what then would attract someone to get a PC like this? Probably for how cool it looks! Admittedly the design looks simple and is gorgeous in my opinion, I'm not a gamer but I can appreciate it's matte black with green accents.
I wonder if it will ever make it to production. I don't think I've ever lusted over a Windows PC before, and of course OS and hardware are two different things altogether, while I'm not familiar with Windows 8.1 to give an opinion, hardware wise, this thing is a win to me.
Good Job Razor, now call it the Lim Lao Peh.
