ALS Ice Buket Challenge Done

So at about 3pm yesterday, I received a post from Hans regarding the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. If you have not heard about it yet, you must be living under a rock. Go Google it.

Anyway I did give it some thought and decided I'd do something about it, so after dinner yesterday, I had Ashraf helped me source a pail from his home, got some ice, found a quiet spot near his home and got down to business.

ALS wouldn't have gained so much notice if it weren't for the craze that's invading it, it's a good thing at the end of the day, ALS is benefiting greatly from it, and other charities too when supporters decide that ALS doesn't need all the attention. I nominated 3 people whom I felt although may not partake in the head dunking, are very likely to put money down for such a cause, so that's settled.

If you'd like to play your part, head on down to www.alsa.org/donate to make a contribution, or even drop by a different charity and do your part, like the Bone Marrow Donor Programme which also requires funding to stay afloat.

Anyway the video's below, I was so t ired last night I honestly had no mood to do it but it's for a good cause yeah? Might as well get it over and done with. =)

Olympus OMD EM 5 - Low Light Video on Auto

I didn't manage to tweak the settings on video, I haven't had time to fully play with the camera yet.

On auto though, the video looks like it was had set itself to a pretty high ISO. Bitrate is not the best compared to Canon's offering but I'll take it.

I hadn't really looked into the video capabilities of the OMD but when I read that it had almost steady-cam stability with its 5-axis stabilizer, I was a bit skeptic but interested to know more.

The video was filmed hand held and in terms of stability...nice.

Dear Diary...

Dear Diary

Today was a great day, I got to hang out with Nat, Andy and that Chinese dude.

Oh yeah and there was Andrew and Colin too...haha! How could I forget???

Maybe it was cause I was busy enjoying myself!

The routine we touched on today was incredibly good, and I managed to perform all my tricks flawlessly!!! I'm so proud of myself! Except for that part when Andrew said I needed to loop higher.

But what does he know right?

lol

ANYWAYS....
Check out my stance!!!

Ain't it the coolest??? I'm so damn proud of it, in fact, I even suggested how to form the position upon catching the yo-yo!
See how happy I was? lol!

OH WELLS!!!!

I guess it's running late, I need to leave on this note, night guys!!!!! Have an awfully awesome day tomorrow!!!

CHEERIOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*ps: No you're not reading the wrong blog*
