Sunday Hang Time - Risotto Style

It was a lazy Sunday morning, the bike trip was postponed, and I was awfully tired from the game last night. So I tucked in until 8:30 when I woke up to the sound of messages coming in by my bedside, some of the NB Runners were done with their Nike Run and were hanging around enjoying a good breakfast after the race.

After rolling in bed for what seem like forever, I headed out to meet some of the runners for dinner that evening. Since I was in town early, Jasmine was at some art shop painting, Neo had just finished doing a flash mob, Adrian and Eve were done with their morning run and Calvin was in the area, we decided to meet up for tea first at Takashimaya.

Dinner came when Eileen joined us at Wheelock for Cedele, since the school was having the holidays, she was finally free to head down instead of stay in the hostel and take care of dorm teens.

Cause I mentioned the risotto the last time round, we decided to give some of their different flavours a try, so apart from the Red Seafood Risotto, we also had a Mushroom Risotto, and a Fish w Tumeric Risotto which was pretty awesome.

Other dishes like a fish & shrimp salad, as well as crab penne was also ordered to add additional variety. 

I felt the dishes were pretty good ah, one thing we completely forgot was to help ourselves to the bread station...AHHHH!!!!! I'm typing right now and I just recalled we completely missed that...URGH!

Apart from the meal though, it was an overall enjoyable last minute get together for dinner in town, I think everyone had quite a bit of fun chilling out and just talking nonsense (and running).

Good Sunday spent...it's almost midnight, I'm hitting the hay shortly, night peeps!
