It was alright, the game was pretty fun though it was quite a bitch to solve, I think half the time my brain cells were blank and unsure what to do.
No pictures allowed inside the game, so I'll post the image of the group shot once they upload it to their site.
The next destination was to Settler's for a second round of gaming, but first dinner!
Random additional note, we bumped into this massive crane that had shoved itself up the corner of a building for the evening, I don't think the pictures do it justice, you really have to stand there and go "wtf?".
Dinner was at two separate locations, the first was this stall recommended by Sharon that served a pretty awesome Dry Mee Sua along Circular road, I wished there were more ikan bilis though, it gave the noodles a lot of texture which made it quite nice to dig into.
The second place was across the street where Al introduced us Pork Ribs & BBQ Sting Ray rice...super awesome! Damn sinful but really good stuff =)
Next stop was Settlers where we went for our latest favorite, Fischmarkt! It was Colin's first time learning the game, he picked it up really quick and it was quite fun with all the haggling and bargaining to get the highest returns possible from our loot.
I had a good start but later got some pretty crappy cards, but still it was fun just watching the negotiation portion which was really hilarious at one point!
Caught two pictures where Sharon was trying to steal glances at Al's deck, it was quite amusing! Some times there were very obvious, other times she'll nua into him, then tilt her eyes towards his cards.
But of course, Al picked it up pretty quick and told his wife to "scram" whenever she tried to grab a look see.
We lasted till pretty late, I think we ended around 12:45am??? There are still a lot of games to explore but we have yet to actually try any of them.
Tonight's game was really exhausting, but at the same time really fun, it was great chilling with the Tier this evening, awesome time spent! =)
Gosh it's 3am, time to hit the hay, night folks.
