Met up with some of the NB Runners on Sunday evening to celebrate Lanie's belated birthday. Since she was back from Japan, Japanese food was out of the questions, her other favorite being beer, so naturally, with a few in the group that also drink, Brewerkz seemed like an ideal choice.
I'm not a beer drinker but joined in the moment I sat down (I had acout 2+ hours to get high and sober again before I drove, so why not right? Better drink now than later).
Side note, I thought a pint would be fine and so far everything was, until I stood up to use the bathroom and everything came rushing in, I got real tipsy and ended up lying outside round the back of the restaurant like a homeless fella (gosh!). Thankfully it lasted 20 minutes and I was back on my feet right after.
I had ribs the night before with the Tier already and wasn't sure what to order at Brewerkz, but settled for chicken & ribs again because the rest of the items didn't really appeal to me. The chicken was awesome, and so were the ribs, and my calorie intake for the past 3 nights skyrocketed like mad. >.<
Almost everyone at the table had some beer that evening, with Lanie and Jasmine going hard, consuming more beer than 2 Irish men on St Patrick's Day.
Overall it was a good evening, a Sunday well spent.
