After waiting on getting Office 2013 to be installed on the new laptops, I finally got the software to do it, and with some additional hardware assistance, today marks the first day I've completely ditched the old desktop.
The set up is so much simpler now. One laptop, wireless keyboard and mouse, plus a HDMI out to a bigger screen.
All is good.
