Did 9km today up to Fort Canning and back, good run and it felt good to be running with the NB guys at Scape again.
Since I had the umbrella and light stand in the car, I decided to bring it down to snap a few photos of the runners.
As it was pretty late after, I didn't really hold anyone back, just a few for the fun of it, but didn't dare delay them too long.
I'm still rather green to OCF shoot through brolly, and today I learnt that the color of your top can really mess with Exposure and Auto White Balance, the latter I should have set as a permanent setting and not let it go auto on its own, lesson learnt, Alex and Edmund look slightly toasty, I think only WB I got which I like was Eve's, and that wasn't even with me toying with the camera (happy accident).
Glad whoever allowed me to shoot were rather patient, I tried to keep my shots as brief as possible, at most I'll be done by the 4th shot and try not to eat their time any further.
Will hope to try more OCF next time.

Shot at high iso for the portraits?
No leh, this time I kept them at iso200, photos were a tad dark for me and I was still a bit unsure on reading the histrograms, but the exposure was a tad better than the KM shoot one.
How close was the umbrella to the subject?
If I recall, it was within an arm's length, maybe less, like u taught previously, keep it as tight but out of frame as possible. I did note cause i didn't mark my spot on the floor my subjects move around a bit so the inverse law kicked in.
Try feathering more the next time too.
Yeah I feathered, but i think not enough ah,especially for the first shot in the shop u can see the head seems to receive all the light.
