I Lent My Niece My Camera, She Came Back With These Treasures

Exactly what the title reads.

I lent my niece my EM1 yesterday after countless requests from her, I was a bit worried but at the same time she was old enough to know how to take care of things, so I taught her how to grip the camera before she set off on her way.

I'm still going  through my photos taken during CNY, it's not a lot, but I thought I'd share the ones she took first. Not all of them were great, out of 30+ photos, 10 were really nicely taken. They required a bit of touching up on Aperture, but that's about it.

The other 20+ photos that didn't make it was cause they were mostly due to slight motion blur, she'd snap unsteadily and quickly bring her hands down after each shot, so I'm guessing the camera's stabilizer did help quite a bit with the 10 photos that made it, not to mention the camera's face detection focus.

That said, the 10 photos are really well taken!

I'm digging the third last photo from this lot, the one with my nephew lying with his head propped up by a bolster, there's so many different colors and patterns going on in it, I know it's not intentional for her to take it that way, but I got to admit I would've never thought to position my shot like that.

Moral of the story? This camera takes really good photos, I really need to brush up on my photography cause I'm apparently as skilled as a 7 yr old girl.
