I made a dumb move this morning while running and started to rush the 2nd last km of the route. I had no pains prior to this but I think I made a few bad calls trying to speed up and made a few improper landings along the way.
That resulted in a sudden pain in my knee which got me re-posturing my strides but by then it was too late.
On Kinesio now, I used up whatever tape I had left in my drawer. I still have my doubts, but since it's all I have to combat the issue, why not eh?
The good news is the taping technique does help by acting as two additional sets of muscles keeping the knee in place, knowing where to stretch the tape when applying does affect the way it works.
Here's hoping it's just a muscle pull and it'll be well by Wednesday.
