After some thought, I figured it would be nice to have some company at home, plus I know the brothers would be interested to have a pet now that we live in a larger house.
It took quite a bit of effort to get the cat out of his old home and into his new, and initially he kept hiding under the bed for fear of its new environment, but after some time we managed to get it out for a bit and it got more comfortable with its surroundings.
About an hour at the house and a group photo later, we left the place to get some supplies, and after that headed for dinner.
By the time I got home, the cat was still under the bed not wanting to exit, but after some time, he popped his head out and decided to explore his surroundings.
He also managed to get acquainted with my brother and his girlfriend Shan who came over to check him out. I managed to sneak 2-3 treats containing catnip into his food and after a few mouthfuls he was more interactive and less shy.
It's been a long day, must be stressful adapting to a new environment but I'm glad to see he slowly is.
Thanks Lossini and Edmund for putting their trust in me, let's hope this new companion will have a blast living under the Lim family.
