Kodak Vision 3 500T Color Negative

Had a quick chat with Vincent Yip about photography and cameras, I knew him during the days when we were into yo-yos and it's cool to see how he's now doing photography work and studying photography on a whole.

He shared a bit about film photography and videography and got me checking out a link on the 500T film by Kodak, the same film used to capture The Hunger Games. Wow! Never knew film was still taken seriously by many in Hollywood. Even Walking Dead was recorded using film as well, and the upcoming Star Wars is said to likely be recorded via film too.

Quite frankly they don't mean much to the average consumer and for those who watch their movies via Netflix which likely kills all those qualities with compression, but it's nice to know how companies such as Kodak is still pushing the boundaries with film in this day and age.
