Picked up the last flash set today with my vouchers at Olympus Office at Valley Point, thank goodness I reserved it! Another customer came by this morning and almost took the last one, luckily the staff gave me a ring, phew!!!!
The base plate is plastic, not like the 580EXII by Canon, but overall it's a good flash, happy to finally fully replace the existing 450D. =D

Yeah man, but it's still so much lighter! I just did a weight in. The OMD with the prime lens on and the flash on top with full batteries, it's just about 130grams heavier than the 450D with equivalent prime lens and NO flash on top!
