Mum went out for lunch this afternoon and came back with...gosh what on earth is this? Asking me to set up, I went ahead and did.
It lags a lot...a....lot. And crashed just 5 minutes into it...it freezes like crazy too, which is extremely annoying.
10 minutes in and it's so frustrating to use...even hitting the power button takes a good 1-2 seconds before the lock screen turns on.
Welcome to the downside of open platforms - improper quality control.

$150 sia, but she said it comes with a lot of freebies, like a pouch, SD card and what not...I still think she should have just give this a miss on the whole. =\

Yes, 1-2sec is superb long, u should buy ipad mini2 for ur mum if you can find it at $150 and i hope she drop it in less than a sec. :D
Nah, got her a Nexus 7 for $300+, double the price but 10x increase in performance.
