Stayed up a bit last night to check out the keynote (cause I couldn't sleep) and caught a glimpse of Apple's new iPhone products.
Stunning as always, though the whole Android vs iOS OS is another debate on its own, in terms of hardware, Apple sure knows how to entice the market...am totally feeling the cool looks of the 5C!
Samsung, whats up? Even HTC's done better plastic phones in its years than you.
I realise I now find my first para a little "self-punch" in the fact cause that being said in terms of cool designs, something is off with the champagne iPhone 5S...
If the champagne tone was any darker I'll be tempted to scream "ah beng!"...but it's not...still...it's...odd?

Just finished watching the keynote, now I want a 5S too!
i thought the 5C looked weird but can't put a finger to what makes it so. regarding the gold iPhone 5S, I think it's feminine and elegant, should be a hit among the ladies.
I realised one thing about the 5C, it looks really nice on pictures and in the promo video, but on The Verge's initial impression, the back doesn't look all too even, a bit off.
In terms of build, the 5S is similar to the 5. I think the main kicker is the camera which is awesome!
Maybe the champagne will appeal to the ladies, guess we'll see how it goes. I reckon a lot of ppl will just cover it up with a case, while the 5C looks like it's dying to be left uncovered, which is why I find the crocs-looking cover to be a little pointless.
apart from the camera, i actually thought the fingerprint sensor is cool. I'm currently typing a 8-digit passcode each time I need to unlock my phone and it is quite a chore
You got a point. I think cause I don't passcode my phone I don't see the feature useful to me, but generally I do recognize it as a great business feature.
Ironically while ppl scoff the finger sensor, they don't understand that unlike the traditional "swipe finger across sensor" designs that aren't very successful, this one is simple and without much thought at all, just press the home button like you normally would, the phone will do the rest and unlock for you.
I'm glad Apple isn't releasing the codes for the fingerprint sensor, it might mean that they are looking into turning it int a business solution in future? Blackberry better start upping their game if they want to stay competitive in the business market.
