The tier came over in the evening to the new home to try out a few shots at low key photography at the roof top to ready for their shoot for Hans for his next Spinworkx profile picture.
I didn't get the white balance right, everything looks a little blue more than gray. I usually like to do a little post processing with my shots but it's past 4am and I'm not really in the mood to post process....nevermind I'll take what I have.
The third pic's mid air kendama shot is my favorite though the second pic was more natural, I noticed just like Al, my free hand would tense up during a trick, hence in the second picture his hand had a more natural pose, made me realise I need to work on relaxing my arms too whenever I play.
My two favorite shots of Al was when he was waiting for my setup, and the one with the most natural smile. Looking up close at the images taken today, you can definitely see a difference between a forced and natural. The mouth may make the shape but it is the eyes too that play a huge role in making it convincing.
Just like Al's image above, this one of Colin's is my favorite. It wasn't initially, there was a slimmer shots which we tried to accomplish that Colin liked better and I did too initially, but upon checking on the laptop, as usual, the more natural smile made it to the top list for me.
Another favorite shot (which is cropped) wasn't from the studio shoot, but of Hannee at the corner resting while waiting for us...such a lovely couple. =)
