Where it seems to be revolutionary though, is in its video department, where constant auto focus is now one if its key features, with a "Dual Pixel CMOS AF" sensor. Too much tech jargon, check out the review on DP if you're interested.
Here's a video made by Canon showing off the capabilities of the camera in video mode with different lenses.
I think the camera would make a great upgrade from what I'm currently using though I didn't factor the possibility of getting a camera in this year's finance.
Would KIV this product for sure. =)

Not factoring the camera in this year's finance can be negotiated.
So maybe you could factor in for 2014. The 70D specs will still stay the same and in fact it has already depreciated for a few months. Most value for money is to get it at launch. Unless there is gonna be a 80D next year lah.
Yeah, I am quite interested in the camera tho I know it's more want than need. To be fair the inclusion of a scooter for this year's budget did make my expenses tight la.
But yeah I could see myself factoring it in for 2014. I'm honestly quite impressed with my 450D, 4 years and it's still damn hardy!
If you really see yourself factoring it in for 2014, what is the difference between now and next year sia?
Basically trying to get some self discipline loh, my fear is once I buy now and tell myself to factor it out of next yr's budget, I'll start applying the same rules to other things I buy, I don't want to end up like those who own credit cards and buy a lot of things, and convince themselves they can pay it off the following month.
I'll probably save such a method for more crucial purchases but probably not on something that's a want bah.
I understand where you are coming from and that is totally the right thing to do. However, some cases can reviewed on an ad hoc basis like your bike. #YOLO
I just think that if you gonna wait till 2014, might as well wait till 2015 or 2016 for 80D.
The bike already YOLO this year loh, so YOLO quota also almost used up!
But that said, I may come into some extra pocket money soon so things may change, but I don't want to dwell on it until the money finally arrives.
