Belated Babe Birthday Bash

July was quite hectic for everyone, but despite that, a birthday was in order, and last weekend, Sharon helped book us a table at Clifford in celebration of Babe's birthday!

It was our first time at the restaurant, and not being familiar with the menu, we took some time to study it, and had Alron guide us along the way with some goodies to try with our main courses.

Courses wise, I like some of the stuff but a few of the things weren't as up to par as I'd hope. Let's just say Al's brother Gary could do a better job with some of the dishes. But of course, you pay for the service and ambience and the place was indeed nice, the service to me was pretty top.

The food, of course, wasn't the main highlight, the birthday as well as company among the awesome people was the main attraction.

It was Babe's birthday, and I know she said she didn't want a cake, but I was rather pleased that the tier didn't comply to that. A birthday dinner wouldn't be a birthday dinner without a cake, regardless of whether it's on the actual date. =)

Besides Babe requested no cake, so they got her cakes instead. ^.^

I recalled Babe mentioning wanting a lomo camera, but I couldn't remember what model. Luckily Al reminded me of the name and I managed to grab one on Friday evening for her birthday. It wasn't so much of a surprise anymore because the name card I had left in my breast pocket fell out when I was at her place and she kinda figured it out. I didn't tell her the color though, Hwee suggested the design and I think Babe loved it. =)

Kudos to Sharon for getting the balloon as well. I know Babe says she's paiseh of balloons, but I secretly do feel some times she does love having it...I mean, look at the 2011 picture, does this look like a girl who's unhappy to wield a giant pocket of air on a string?

The night ended off with us chilling at One Fullerton for a bit, Colin messing with his newly purchase x100s while I meddled with the Olympus OMD as much as possible cause I was considering it's next successor as an option to purchase.

It was a great evening and I think everyone had a good time hanging out. I'm glad Babe got her birthday celebration, it's a little late but better late than never. =)
