If you do not know yet, Mayonnaise's most basic ingredients are 1 egg yolk, and one cup of non-fragrant oil (palm, sunflower, corn etc).
So in there's an egg yolk, and a butt load of oil...and after 15 minutes of heavy whisking while slowly drizzling the oil in bit by bit, I made mayonnaise!!!!
Added some cracked pepper and garlic powder, a bit of salt, and squeezed a lime in.
It's light, way lighter than bottled mayonnaise, which is essentially whole eggs with oil and a lot of preservatives.
