SyFy's Defiance

I like a good Sci-fi, from the mysterious Fringe, Heroes, Alphas, Continuum to even the more comic-con-ish one like Stargate Atlantis and Firefly.

The problem with the latter two shows is they always seem to have a really short lifespans on TV, normally getting canceled after just one season or worse still, midway through 2-3 seasons where it gets very exciting.

SyFy isn't well known for bringing to the table mass-consumable shows so I have a bad feeling the same will go for Defiance, but the trailer looks really good, and I hope it hangs around!
