Yes I know I did say it's gimmicky...it is, no doubt, but it's fun at times, especially the photosphere view. It's not good with objects up close though (hence the warped chairs) unless you got a tripod at hand...no you probably don't.
Probably not good enough to use as a print out like you would with a panoramic shot...but it's still fun to do if you intend to revisit and have that "street view" experience.
