So on Sunday, the group of us headed up to the Marina Barrage with a few kites, and decided to get on with our usual shenanigans.
It was great seeing Zel, I believe the last time she saw us was during Zenden's birthday, and back then she was still very reserved, not that interactive. She still hardly spoke, but this time round she was all smiles, running around, holding the kite string, and getting involved, it was really great seeing her naturally smile for the camera too!

I think everyone took turns to take care of her while at the barrage, Hannee looked extremely natural with her, so family like!!! I see mother-father potential in the two. =)
The night shots were taken by Colin, I love the last shot of Alron in midair, really cool! The middle one was quite funny too, everyone in midair while Zel is giving the "what nonsense are these adults doing?!?!" look.
Dinner was at this restaurant called Poulet which Hannee recommended. It's a rotisserie run by a former Les Amis chef, and it served up one of the best roasted chicken around!
The meal was satisfying, the poached egg on top of the bed of sautéed mushrooms was a pleasant surprise! The Ox Tail stew was really tender, and the duck confit was just as good.
The chicken was of course the star, as Hans and Hwee Ngee highlighted, I think the half chicken was better than the whole, cause it was served on a bed of gravy and I think it did soak up a bit more of the flavour than the whole chicken did.
Kite out and dinner was awesome, I really enjoyed it and I'm sure the rest did as well, it was great seeing Zel in high spirits too. Overall, a great Sunday spent. =)
