Braised Pork Leg n Veg

Talk about a late lunch, almost 3!

I always had the impression that pork leg had lot of meat, this had so little...does that mean whenever I see an emptied bowl of braised pork leg, that individual finished a bowl of skin and fat?

Omg...

Erm yes.

If the farmers raised a lean pig to begin with, they are doing it wrong.

I think I've been enjoying the meatier pork knuckles you find at German pubs

Doesn't the meatier german knuckles means it is a bigger piece and comes with an even thicker crust of fat?

Hmm...good point! think next time I'll look for a pork belly option or something,I think I wasted like 2/3 of the pot just now
