This is annoying, last week's visit to the doctor, I was given two medication.
The flu has since calmed down and is almost non-existent with the exception of dry cough and runny nose which I understand is common, but there were two occasions last week when I took my medicine and my body warmed up pretty bad.
After consulting the doctor today, she checked my record from last week and confirmed what I got was regular meds, I had asked for stronger ones then, informing the doc on my first visit that I had been to another doctor before that. Apparently that note wasn't taken in account...
The medication I was given today could have been given to me last week, that would've saved me quite a lot of time, money, and trouble.
Have to say I am rather disappointed, I feel better but I think it's safe to complete this course than to be sorry, these meds better do the trick.

The medication doesn't kill the virus and cure you. It only suppresses the virus while your body tries to build up its immune system again and cure itself. Same same but different.
Get well soon.
Thanks.
To my knowledge, Antibiotics are what helps to kill or stun bacterial growth, I wasn't given that the last visit but this time round I was, hopefully that'll assist with the recovery.
what I learned the last time I was sick: anti-biotics does not do anything when you are down with viral infection. on the contrary, it may make instead weaken your body and prolong the duration required to combat the infection.
I hope not, it's the same meds Xinn took when she was very ill middle of this year and it helped her pretty well.
Information I got off Antibiotics are actually just from Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antibacterial
I'm no doctor either but see what i found in the Wiki page you provided (under Misuse):

Damn I feel scammed already.
These new meds are pretty strong, knocked me out just now in the office.
Gonna skip today and tomorrow's run in favor of proper rest.
