I have to give it to Jennifer, the gung ho runner always looking out for the little guy.
Saw this picture today of her "leading the pack" at the recent Jungle Race with other locals, including Din and Robson at the back. The image immediately brought a big fat smile to my face.
What's the point of taking part in an activity if you end up not enjoying it right? Maybe I should start looking at running more positively like they do, rather than to see it as a means to an end (eating).

running as a form of self challenge is actually quite enjoyable. almost impossible to get that kind of adrenaline and high level endorphins in our day-yo-day jobs
I did enjoy it as a self challenge, was quite happy with myself during the first POSB run (thanks!) but soon after I realised I found more fulfillment when socializing during the run, maybe it was like how I felt when I picked up yo-yoing previously, the contests were a plus, but it was the regular weekly meets that were the most enjoyable, I think I'm starting to find that same appeal via running clubs.
