Migration Completed!

Took me 3 hours to transfer everything out of the old desktop, and into the new laptop.
  • Wifi Setup
  • File Sharing
  • Printer Setup
  • 6 years worth of emails and settings
  • A load of documents
It took less than an hour to put everything into Windows 7, but over 2 hours to take everything out of Windows XP. 

Gosh XP's slow, I'm so glad mum doesn't have to deal with it anymore.

every monday morning when I turn on the PC at work, I am greeted with a notification on the anti-virus scan being started, on a windows xp. be glad that you can choose your own operating system for work man!

Ya man, even Windows 7 is still plagued by bloatware and 30 day free trial of virus protection services.

Thankfully the good thing with setting up your own system is disabling those nonsense software.
