Babe's new kicks.
I was gonna surprise her with a pair of shoes from Brooks tomorrow but after her run today, Babe started eyeing the New Balance Ionix, which was a transition shoe for those seeking to go more minimal without having to go straight into the barefoot experience.
Apparently for the past two weeks, she's been altering her landing from a heel strike to a more fore foot landing.
I guess this shoe would help quite a bit, with a 6mm drop compared to her previous shoe at 13mm, and a lot more cushion than say, the MT00 or MR00, I think she'll definitely enjoy this shoe...not to mention it's lighter than her current pair!
