I read up a bit about filters and crops quite awhile back but never really saw an opportunity to give it a shot. Then Instagram came along and it became a huge hit with the masses. The fun thing about having a subject cropped differently and having a filter set to it gives it a different tone and perspective you'd get from a regular framed shot.
Since everyone were busy with photos during AP, I decided to give this technique a try. Can't say I'm happy with the results, but ok la at least these few above I'm quite satisfied with.
Oh and good job to Hans for making this event a reality, as well as the rest of the Tier 0 team and others who were involved. =)
