MacRichie to Rifle Range

Edmund from the New Balance running club decided to host a small group run today at MacRitchie with him...the initial route was 20 km but I think we cut it short due to the weather. Calvin joined us as well as it was his first time at the trails, sporting MT20v2s.

I didn't take any photos of the usual route, and just the ones that were after the Ranger Station that led to Rifle Range.

The route to Rifle Range was pretty nice, cause of the rain, we had to jump over fallen trees to get to our destination.

The route totaled to about 14.5km instead of the initial 20. Calvin wasn't used to the reflexology feeling of his MT20v2s...I think I sorta got used to it though of course it wasn't the most comfortable experience. Still it's quite fun "feeling" the trail...like you're one with nature...very hippie mentality.

Today wasn't a fast run, plus with our constant breaks for Edmund to explain the route, and with me not pausing my RK, 2 hours seems about right.

Great run, like the route, wasn't sure this morning if I could complete it cause I was damn tired but I'm glad I did.
