I'm 10%

Seems like Google+'s instant upload feature and Dropbox's camera sync features are the main culprits. Tethering and easy tether was most likely due to our trip to BKK, and Google Music for when I set my player to shuffle so it downloads new stuff from my cloud storage.

Google+, Dropbox, Google Music, and Tethering (+ Easy Tether) total to 2.99gb.

Technically I can do away with Google+ completely, and use Dropbox's camera sync limited to wifi uploads only, 2gb cap is do-able but still I'm not really fond of the idea...just checked last month's data usage...6.3gb!

*faint*

If I read it correctly though, only new and recontracting customers will be affected by the 2gb data limit...so does that mean if I don't recontract my plan, I'm safe? It does mean that I'd have to pay full prices for phones though...

Sigh...so many first world problems...

I don't think i have ever exceeded 2gb usage since I've got my iPhone! Apart from you, I have not heard from anybody exceeding it also, so the 90% stats from Singtel looks legit =P

That said, I still believe that 2gb is more than sufficient. Auto-backup of photos is not critical, can always do it when connected to Wifi.

Yeah I'm pretty sure most of the complaints are just whines from unhappy customers and doesn't really apply to most of them.

I actually backup my phone not by 3g or wifi, but through an app.

I've been making full use of Google+'s and Dropbox's image upload features cause they were pretty convenient for blogging (taking images directly off picasa without having to upload new images) and editing (taking already synced images in my dropbox to edit)

Wifi will do I guess, just me being fussy that I have to make changes. =P
