TubeMate for Android

Was introduced by a friend to try an app that allowed you to download Youtube videos off your stock Android phone. I'm not one to really download stuff off youtube but I thought I'd save the app in the event where I might actually use it.

Naturally it's not available via the Google Play store for obvious reasons, but there are some sites that hosts them and so I followed one and downloaded TubeMate. (Link)

The app's not much of a replacement of your Youtube app, you can choose to play a video directly off the app, or simply just use it to download a video by clicking the green arrow below.

Quality came out pretty good, of course it depends on the video size you're downloading.

Nice app, not sure what I'll need it for, maybe I'll find a reason eventually, or clear it up and leave it in DropBox when needed.
