Note that this ISN'T the final design for the BB10, but an alpha reference device for developers to take home and use to build apps on...no word or look on the final product yet.
Seems like a rather big leap Rim is trying to take, which is good since they haven't had much success since the iPhone, followed by Android, and then Windows Mobile.
Some of the features like their approach towards predictive texting is pretty cool.
Another cool feature which I really like i their photo time lapse, it's essentially like Sony's previous "Bestshot" feature in it's pre-iPhone era, only better defined by Blackberry.
The next great feature the Blackberry 10 will offer is their definition of "multitasking" via the form of flow which looks pretty good, like sifting through a deck of cards or going into expose-style to get from one to another.
And just like the Blackberries before that, Rim is still targeting its main crowd, the businessman and woman, with Blackberry Balance that allows companies to let their employees use one device for both work and play, without having to interfere with either, also allowing them to remotely wipe the business portion of the phone when an employee leave his/her job.

So far it seems like Rim is getting its act together this time round, the OS concept looks good, the phone hardware, for now is just a reference device so it's hard to tell...but overall it does have a lot of potential, maybe things might turn around for them after all...or as some point out, it may be a little too late?
