Sony Xperia Sola: Float Touch

Sony recently unveiled their latest handphone model, the Xperia Sola, a smaller form factor phone that comes with a nifty trick that is their main selling point: Float Touch.

As the name says, you basically float your finger above the screen to handle certain interactions. The advantage being you get to see what you have selected first before bringing your finger down to click it, avoiding annoying clicks of wrong links.

Wouldn't it be easier to just pinch zoom till all you see is the link and click it?
