JB Night Snack Hunt

Monday evening, Alron had suggested the guys to join them for a walk around a nearby night market at JB since they were on leave that day. Since Xin and I were the only ones free, we hopped on a bus at Woodlands and found ourselves at JB around 6-7pm in time to chill out and have some street food.

I love street food, the more ghetto the better!!! Singapore night markets are a good haunt for street food, but they aren't as hardcore as the night markets in JB...too clean! (I can't believe I'm complaining about clean places)

The night wasn't over when we left the night markets. Next up, lok lok!!!

The lok lok Babe introduced to us tasted way better than the one in KL, it was a tad towards the salty side, but still...WAY BETTER. The secret also kinda lies in the chili, though plain, packed one heck of a punch!!!

The night wasn't over, once we were done it was on to our last location. This time though I think we were all full...except for babe!

A JB trip wouldn't be complete without her dose of Maggi Goreng, and after her plate of fried instant noodles with bits of vegetables and meat soaked in delicious saturated oil was completed, we then made our way home across the border.

A great trip across the border that should be arranged more often! Thanks Alron!
