Brunch @ Simply Bread

I've been to Cold Storage along 6 Avenue a few times but never really sat at the cafes there before. There's a coffeebean, which I visited at least 10 years ago when one of my classmates was a barista there. And then there was the DIY store which....well...isn't a cafe.

Simply Bread was one of the places I've been curious to try and since Babe was working at 1pm today, we stopped by to have a look.

Honestly, the food's pretty decent. The french toast Babe had was delicious, if you're a fan of egg-ish french toast, this might work for you, cause it was drenched in it before it hit the griddle.

The ham that came with my platter was honey baked hame, but well marinated, making the meat really sweet to sink your teeth into. The toasted bread that came with my plate was pretty darn good too.

Overall I'd say this place serves up some pretty simple brunch items. Great if you're not picky, but if you want a bit more variety, just drive further down to Holland Village or Dempsey, maybe even head to Riders Cafe at Turf City.
