Looks like the 2 good hardware upgrade they have to offer is the screen resolution which many have been mentioning. The other being connectivity of all sorts, something you don't see on other phones which have to specifically make one phone on a certain band, and then do a separate version of that same phone in a different connectivity band, hence for example, Samsung's crazy burst of dozens of handsets that are essentially the same model running on a different connectivity.
Better optics on a tablet is definitely welcome, but then with other tablets moving in that direction, it's no surprise Apple went there too.
And then there's some of iLife's new features, iPhoto looks great but I wonder what Aperture users are left with.
It's a new iPad, and yes it will sell well, but in terms of evolution, it felt like it was more of an upgrade, and a hour long keynote that emphasizes on the Retina display is old hat. =\
Apart from the new iPad, Apple TV is out too.
Not very impressed to be honest, looks like the MacBook Pro is up next, considering it's been awhile since they did a form factor upgrade, I think THAT would be something revolutionary =)
