Here's news, Apple just won a court ruling that might ban HTC from the States next year. Since it's a function that appears in the OS and not just the phone, Apple might even take it up against other companies in future.
Whatever the case, I'm quite amused that HTC is taking a very positive approach to the matter, calling the decision ruling a "win for HTC". Perhaps they were expecting a worser outcome? I guess taking the "look at the bright side" approach is better than to go out a sore loser eh?

i doubt there will be a ban. it will just another one of those protracted legal battles that will just end up in some licensing deal, especially when that guy who doesn't likes money is no longer at the helm.
U got a point.
Am curious though how much money Steve had spent on lawsuits now that we know he wasn't concerned about the price when it came to taking Android down.
That said, I also wonder if it's something Apple might consider stopping if it might end up actually being very cost-ineffective for the company.
