Future Multi-Tasking on iOS?

Check out this concept video Jan-Michael Cart which shows how the iPhone could one day be made to become a useful multitasking device.

When I first went Android and skipped the iPhone bandwagon, one of the features I was looking for was a smart phone with the addition of a media player that runs avi files too so that I could merge my Creative Zen Vision and Phone into one device and not carry both around.

Since there, I've grown to love a lot of the features the green fella has to offer, though buggy at times, it was something I could live with because the features weren't available elsewhere.

With the iPhone now being able to play avi files (via 3rd party apps), and iOS5 introducing a few of Android's features into its system, including the ability to manage without connecting to iTunes, I got pretty excited. One killer feature was still missing, and that was multi tasking, which Android has a better concept of. The concept features Cart intends to bring to the iPhone are some what similar to what Android has, and so if this gets built into the new iOS, hey happy days! =)
