Seeing how we were already there and we weren't gonna let money stand in the way, we forked out the cash and went in to celebrate a sorta annual tradition. And as though wanting to crush our mood further, the Pagoda Doors were closed this time round!
Not wanting to be demoralized, we continued on, and lit our lanterns provided by Alron, then headed off along the foot path to check out what was in store for this year's celebration.
Apparently a firework display was scheduled at 9:15 that night, which was one of the reasons why an entry fee was enforced.
Not much of a display though, the thing lasted probably 2 minutes...whoopy doo.
What WAS whoopy doo were the mooncakes babe had brought to the party...really good stuff! The Lychee Martini Mooncake was definitely a highlight! Thanks dear for providing us the delicious treats =)
After attempting to be all artsy fartsy with the camera like we did previously, we whipped out the sparkles Hannee had prepared and spent the next 1/2 - 1 hour lighting them up like matchsticks.
The rest of the group images and sparkle action are taken off Colin's Blog (Post Entry Here)...really cool photos!
Our running shot quite fail though, Xinn looked like she just struck me in the face with her sparkler, from which you see this bright ball of light illuminate in front of my eyes!
Dinner came at around 11+pm after it got really late, we were out of sparkles, and all of us were damn hungry!
Yesterday night was really fun. Thank goodness for good company, where would you be without them?
