Rumors while back was suggesting WiTricity to be working with Apple on wireless charging for their products.
Now there's a video out which sort of suggests that it's true! Cool tech, which means in future you just need to place your keyboard, mouse, iPad, even your iPhone near your computer and they'll charge up while you get on with your work!

Isn't the wireless charging thing available since a while back?
Yup! But those were bulky and needed a form of contact, like lying on a mat or something.
This one does not need a direct mat, and the induction hardware can be built small enough to fit inside your device. Rumor is that Apple is working with them to build their hardware into Apple devices.
Currently if you have an induction charger, your phone has to wear this awful back cover, you then had to place it properly on a charging mat or else it won't charge.
The one from WiTricity allows you to go home, and simply chuck you phone near your mac, and it will start charging...no mat, no need for proper placement in order to get a charge!
In terms of aesthetics, I'm sure this will appeal more to Apple than the current induction charging solutions.
