Samsung takes on Whatsapp

Seems like the Korean giant is looking to start their own chat messaging service that will run on iOS, Android, BB, and all other non Android Samsung devices.

Cheesy if you ask me, I'm quite doubtful it'll take flight considering how far Whatsapp has gone already.

With BB having it's own BB chat, Google having it's own GChat, and Apple soon to be having it's iMessage, I doubt they'll be as successful as what Whatsapp currently has to offer - cross platform unification.

Being a free app, who knows Samsung might actually stand a chance against Whatsapp...but I'm not keeping my hopes up. Whatsapp's great so far =)
