No Topic

You know it's not always easy trying to come up with a topic for every post you do.

Hence, the once-a-week post, and even then , I don't have much to post about all the time, neither do I have weird names to fit those entries.

Nuts.

Anyway

School Sucks

School's been pretty hectic, what with Accounting 2 and Events management getting on my nerves, as though that isn't bad enough, Human Resource management isn't exactly easy.

It's easIER...but the amount of work needed to be done for it certainly isn't making it any more relaxed than the next module.

So far project discussions with Kelly and Sophie have been over lunch after classes. Something cooped up back home at Jenny had to leave sch for a bit, I hope things are doing well for her, but for now, due to the lack of one member, I was invited by Kelly and Sophie to step in and help out with their project.

So...ya, where was I? Oh yes, discussion over lunch...
I think all in all, our class hasn't had lunch together in quite a long time, to be more specific, our group of ppl, from Chestine, Renata, Deborah, Kelly, Sophie, Jenny and even Danielle's gang of friends.

Some times its hard when schedules and projects aren't exactly making it easier for us to hang out as a group either.

and although school can suck...some times...

School Rocks

It was our school's 2nd anniversary this week and a couple of the students stayed back to help out at the school with decorations and what not.
I don't think I really much to begin with...I just took pictures and what not, so I guess it doesn't really count as compared to the rest of the guys who did a lot of manual labor.
To top it off, I even ended up going to makan while the rest stayed back to do work...ack! I have to admit though, I was pretty happy with the photos I took during dinner(HAHAHA!) with my K850i, made me realise that I still love this camera phone after all. =)

So like mentioned, a pre-setup would be wasted if there wasn't a party right?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

no no, not like the one in the previous post which was damn emo.

Friday saw the celebration of our school which turned 2 this year. And unlike last year, there were 5 classes this time round!

Swing and I had to pick up the Guest of Honor from Resorts World, Sentosa, and while we were there, we checked out their amazing miniature model of the potential IR, which in my opinion, is INCREDIBLE!
The guest of honor Mr Noele Hawkes even gave us a first hand tour around the miniature resort, explaining to us a lot of stuff about the up and coming attraction, I have to admit, get ready to be wowed!
I think one of the coolest pictures didn't come from my camera, but from William's who took one of KZ and Danielle in the most awesomeness shot I've seen so far.
Kudos to our two hosts who made the event rather interesting during periods where it wasn't =)
Anyways, the event was pretty successful, and the food was rather good too! I doubt I'll be around for next year's anniversary if I do end up going to Vegas...we'll see.

Anyway the new managers from the Podcasting Studio had made a video celebrating the event and I thought I'd share it with you guys, I think it's pretty awesome =)

a bunch of us later had dinner at Billy Bombers just to chill out.
Xin Wei was right when she said she thought we all were pretty quiet that day, hm, noisy bunch during day time, but really quiet when put in a different environment, especially at China One where we went after dinner, guess you can't expect everyone to enjoy the atmosphere of chilling out in a club. =\

Foodfairs are starting to get boring...

So Saturday after hanging out at the yo yo store for like...20 mins and getting kinda upset that I wasn't informed about a birthday surprise, I left cause I didnt think it would be nice to show up without anything to offer.
Everything was pretty much done up already, people had even gotten presents, chipped in to wrap stuff and what not, and there I was, coming in at around 4 plus with my books only to see that I had not been informed there was gonna be a surprise.

all I knew was that Colin had an early celebration w his family cause he was busy or sth on his actual day, I didnt expect there to be anything to begin with.

It just sucks when you consider them friends you would prioritize time for but then you feel like you're not part of their priority.

I felt bad looking very emo in the shop, Yoshie kinda notice my dull look but I didn't wanna say anything cause I didn't wanna cause a commotion what with only an hour left before Colin came to the store.

Anyway, I did, however, chance upon a food fair

I'm not saying it made me feel better, but it certainly did kept my mind off things.

I have to admit though, if you checked back a few month some time in march, I posted an entry about me going to a food fair as well.

Quite sad to say, this time's foodfair looked almost identical to the old one, same stalls, same postition, as in literally, the fruit tree drink stall was where it was a few months back, so was the Chinese Sausage and Peking duck stall.
I think the only different thing that I really noticed though was the Botak Jones stall which had quite a few good stuff to eat, but I was saving up for dinner, so I gave it a miss.

Dinner turned out to be a Bakut Teh coffeeshop w Xin Wei somewhere near....er.....well it was somewhere. Sorry I'm really terrible with places in the east.
I think the standard of Bakut Teh is starting to drop a lot in recent years. Though it was crowded, it didn't taste like it was worth the kind of quality that would make u go down ALONE to eat, it did have a very social feel though and was good if you intend to hang out with a bunch of ppl. But alone, nah, this isn't sth worth driving to have by yourself. If you would go somewhere by urself to enjoy it, it means that place has to be damn good....either that or you're damn lonely.

Stuffed Toys

I checked through my photos and realised I got a few shots of toys this week for odd reasons.
The first one being Xin Wei's new found friend whom she got when she decided to buy herself a Happy Meal for dinner, and her first few thoughts that came to her mind was to bring it back, mess with it's hair and then chop it all off.

She later figured it'd be more hilarious to just put its faces against mine and tag me into the photo...pffft. no way! lol
This pic came from when I was cleaning out the toys in the podcast room.

As you can see, the one of the left is...er...ya. that thing. Wassit Abbie or Angie? The second's a bear I got when I made a donation to some foundation I can't remember. The big one's a present I got for an award(I can't remember! ack!) during the 2nd anniversary celebration and the last was a present from Seo Joo when she came back from main campus over the sumemr vacation...cute ain't it?
The last picture came from right outside my house when I walked in from the garden and found that my maid had decided to take my youngest brother bunch of stuffed toys and wash them, then hang them ouside as though they had been beaten up and left to die.

Look at the monkey!!! hahaha!

Wahlau, k

It's late, I should have gone to sleep a long time ago.

Anyway, the video for last week's SG Drifters UP Challenge is completed! Not the best work done so far, it was a pretty rush job, but I hope you guys enjoy it =)

You guys have a great week ahead, I'm gonna bust my head in the car tmr figuring out key terms for my quiz in the morning.

Cheers ppl, goodnight!

You should have just stayed on that day! I was emoing myself at UPCC the whole day (not celebration with family) and wasn't aware of any surprise at all. Thanks for chipping in to abi-fieing all the things around me. Just know that you have been a great friend all this while. Should I get you a forever friends bear plush? =p
