Decent Week, Odd Weekend.

The week's over again, and this time it was a pretty fast one too. I think I enjoyed and didn't enjoy this weekend at the same time, Iono exactly how to explain it, but heck. Let's dig up my photo album and see what nonsense I have to contribute about...

The Migration

So Monday saw the first day where I officially assumed position as the Student Webportal Manager of my school. Basically I now take charge of the school's web board where students can go to yak and chit chat. Jenny from Rebel 1 has been doing such a great job w the site it's not easy following the same footsteps.

But anyway...
As compared to the Podcasting studio, the office space at the Webportal isn't exactly bigger than the Podcasting room. I definitely prefer the Podcast Studio for various reasons, but heck la, I no longer belong in that department, it would be bad to abuse access and hang around in there when I don't work there anymore.

In order to clear up some space, I took out my packet of instant noodles from taiwan to grab a bite. It was a day expired, but I figured what the heck and opened it to eat.
I think I should've just thrown it away, cause it didn't taste good, I think the meat went bad or sth, it was BAD bad, but just...well...er..funny.
Luckily, better food came in the form of a function that was held at the HCL. There was quite a bit to go around so our Dean offered us to head over a grab a bite to eat.
Later I had supper with Shi Chang, Xinwei and Calvin after that over at the food court opposite the library. I haven't had a proper meal that day so I guess the bbq stingray and stir fry pork with rice was definitely welcomed =)

Pizza Birthday and Pasta.

Tuesday was a short celebration for the volunteers who helped out at the 2nd Anniversary celebration, and Diana, Jaques and the gang bought pizza for the volunteers. Rite pizza, as mentioned by Colin, Hans and I before, was good, but had a thick outer crust. Hence, I still prefer my Sunshine Fantasy from Pizza Defrance. lol
We later had our usual H.A. meeting and started out by surprising Valerie from our group with a 21st birthday surprise =)

I totally forgot about her birthday party on Saturday but I also couldn't make it down to begin with, so I guess the surprise in the conference was well called for.

Later in the evening, I had Pastamania with Richmond and Xinwei. I got to try their japanese offerings, which I didn't really like, I think the sauce was a bit too salty. But heck la, you can't expect much from such a restaurant now can u?
Before I continue, I'd like to say, that this post so far seems really boring, all I've been yapping about so far is food food food and more food. I don't even have a proper story to talk about. lol

Ramen and a Party

Wednesday afternoon, I hung out with my classmates and Sherwin for lunch over at Ajisen.
I don't think it takes a genius to find out what I ate again. haha. But this time I opt out the chicken kebab cause ever since I found out that crunchy substance was cartilage, I just cannot stand the thought of eating it again...ACK!
At night I went over th Zouk to celebrate Richmond's 24th birthday.
I'm not one to drink alcohol and do nothing. If I drink, I either dance, or kept myself occupied with sth or else the alcohol will set in and I'd become silent and moody.
But I guess I was a little silent and moody already to begin with that evening so the alcohol just added to that sudden mood swing which I had that evening.

You ever have that one thing that when u hear ppl talk about it, or u have sth u hear that suddenly just turns u off quite bad. Yeah, I kinda had that experience that day just half an hour before the party, so it got me pondering the entire night...I end up not exactly enjoying myself at the party....sorry Richmond, I'll try to have fun next time I swear.

Benedict

Saturday, I met up with Xinwei and KZ for supper over at Starbucks, which later led us to Bedok 85 market for Ba Chor Mee.
On the way to meet them though, I drove past Suntec and realized the lights for the F1 night race was up already, pretty impressive, though extremely bright, it really fely like daylight. I guess this event's gonna be one hellava exciting one to watch =)
It's been a while since I went to that market, I think at least 4 years since I last went there...it was during my days of hanging out with Zhirong and gang almost every night.

I didn't really like their BCM, I still don't...I dunno why ppl talk about it so much...maybe I'm not a Ba Chor Mee person by nature? Iono, I think its more so that I prefer mine dry with flat rice noodles instead. =)

Anyway it was 2 and we were on our way home when we spotted a drunk guy called Benedict who was out cold at the carpark. His two friends had to go home and were really desperate in finding someone to fetch the bugger back...so I agreed to do so when they asked for help.

The problem was that he had no address in his wallet, the only one on his 11B was outdated, he nolonger lived there, and it took us over 2 hours to finally send him home.
I honestly dun understand why ppl who can't drink force themselves to such state. I know my limits, and I'm a terrible drinker, hence I stop the moment I know I'm going tipsy, but wow this guy too much man. lol.

I think this was the first time I ever sent a drunk home, it was also the first time I sent a stranger home. Hence, it was my first time sending a strange drunk home...no wait...I dun think I got that right....

Anyway it's late, 1am, and I'm really not exactly in the mood for blogging today.

I'm tired, I reached hom at 6 last night thanks to Ben. I could've been home before 3, took a shower and napped till 9. but noooo.

Aye, guess I can't blame him since I agreed to send him back also.

You guys have a great week ahead, I'm hitting the hay.

Cheers people =)

Andrew
