Short Stories you could print out and read while taking a dump...

Story 1 - 3 guys, 5 pizzas.

So it was Monday and I dropped by at the spinworkx shop after I had a meeting down at school with the members of the Hotel Association club.

Apparently Colin had dropped a message about a "Pizza session", wanting to find out which pizza was better.....Sarpinos or Rite.

I finally dropped by, at a late hour, when all of them were already really hungry and had been waiting for me.

We first gave Rite pizza a call and ordered 2 pizzas and some snacks...but later up the ante when I convinced them that Pizza De France's Sunshine Fantasy was worth trying too...although I think Colin just bought it cause he found the name very corny...haha

So when the order came in, instead of seeing 2 boxes from Rite, we were greeted with 3...3??? Apparently one of the snacks was some sorta pizza...like a plain butter sugar coated pizza which was really good too.
So in the end, 3 of us ended up eating 5 boxes of pizza, that counts up to like...10 slices each!!!

Tough, but worth the while I guess...it sorta burned a small hole in my pocket but i'll live =)

Story 2 - Crispy Fried $200.

It was a Tuesday morning, and I was fixing up my rc drift car to bring out for a spin. Cause it was really old, I had to toy with it a bit before I was sure it would work.

So I stuck my battery in and took apart an electronic speed box I had worth $200, not knowing that the underside and topside of the box had interconnecting chips that would short if I had taken them apart.
It was pretty bad, especially since it was so hot the soldering melted and dripped onto my feet....egad!!!
Lesson learnt...luckily, I had a spare...a much more expensive spare that I'm glad still works =)
Story 3 - "Breast" Implants and "Steroids"...

Wednesday started out pretty slow...the weather wasn't good, so I didn't really wanna go out.

And then I remembered telling myself to find time during the holidays to set up my macbook pro and upgrade it's hard drive and ram.

So I headed down to Sim lim and got myself a 320gb Sata and 2gb DDR 2 ram to put into my baby =)
Now considering the fact that I had just blew my $200 chip set yesterday, I wasn't sure if it was a safe idea to open up my Macbook Pro today...but then I figured what the hell, I didnt spend hours(10 minutes) watching up to 2 hours(5 mins) of instructional video(some guy messing up his macbook pro by accident while opening it) again and again(once) to come to this point and not do the operation(potential disaster) myself.
So you see, brand new ram, brand new hard drive....tonnes of newly installed software...yummers. =)

Story 4 - Hammers...
So it's the 3rd month for Colin and Han's monthly "eat-one-whole-item-and-nothing-else" challenge...

This time round, the guys figured a good challenge would be to split a KG of ham between the two of them and jam if down their throat...sth I'd gladly NOT participate in.
After awhile though, the two gave up and said that the torment of having to taste "ham juice" every bite they took along with the high salt content was driving the two of them nuts.
Picture this...2 grown men...one constantly stomping his foot and tapping his fingers like a drug withdrawal victim, while another just stares at his piece of half-eaten ham, hoping that it'd eat itself out of existence.

One failed....that's 2 win...1 lost....9 more months to go =)
Story 5 - Teppanyaki Boyz
So after the whole ham deal, I happened to be with Zhirong, Jopal and Yuan he, so we headed down to Carrefour and came across this really cheap teppanyaki hotplate, which got us to purchase it instantly and buy a few items at the supermarket before heading down to the workshop for some late night hot plate dinner =)
We even ended off the meal with fried bean sprouts and cabbages...something u'd see less in hotplate teppanyakis and more in soup huh? We're such imaginative ppl...lol.
Story 6 - West Coast Classics....air con, macbook, yoyos...stage..music...lights, camera...ACTION!
For those of you who were in the dark....ok make that, many of you...we just had our West Coast Classics yoyo challenge in Ulu pandan CC today...I was one of the judges and had the chance of watching this really fun and hilarious event.
The games were crazy, and so were the competitor's freestyles!!!
There was a lot of shock from the players when the results were read though...but in all fairness, the judges were pretty shocked when tallying the results as well, so in other words those who might be suspicious can be rest assured, the results were for real...we even checked through at least 3 times both manually and on computer to confirm the scores...thus the delay.

I guess it goes to show that the 30% performance score does play a big part in one's freestyle, something we, even the judges, learnt today when judging the WCC contest.

Stay tuned!!! Hopefully the wcc freestyle videos will be up soon!

K well that's the end of my short stories.

Night ppl, going out for a run, cheerios!

Andrew
