Fondue for 2, Late night arts and craft...untouchable asparagus and more.

Let me first just say that it's 3:25am, and I was going to sleep, but that large cuppa starbucks coffee I had at around 10ish hasn't worn out yet, and I'm still wide awake...but I'll keep it short and post mostly pictures that's all...I didnt really have an interesting week due to the rush of exams.

Anyway speaking of exams, it over!!!! I'm just glad there's a 3 week break which I now have to find time to enjoy and not spend as much like i did the last time round though.

Anyway Monday I went out and hung out with Colin for awhile and both of us tried out this Chocolate fondue at some Waffle Cottage at Suntec City. So on the menu, it says it's for couples...but we figured, who cares right? And ordered a set while he brain stormed stuff and I waited for my friend Azfar to come down so I could help him with his portfolio resume he needed for an interview come friday.
I'm not a big sweet-tooth person, I'm more into savory items, but I guess this was really good, the waffles were crispy and the chocolate was not too sweet, not too bitter, and was really smooth too...or at least to me it was, I'm not chocolate fondue expert, anyone care to give input?

WEDNESDAY
I went out Jae Young, Chris and Robert to go try out this Nonya Cafe which I walked pass every day but had no clue it existed...I always thought it was some flower shop and didn't really give it a second look until Jae Young told me about it. IT cost like.....$13 per head for dinner, so we gave it a shot.
I'm not a big fan of Nonya cuisines, but I guess it was pretty good and simple, plus the pictures of some celebrities kinda gave the assurance that the place was pretty good...haha.
After dinner though, Robert and I spent the next few hours up at the student's conference room to fix up our Accounting "cheat sheet", which is basically a sheet we were allowed to bring in for reference with regards to questions and formulas we needed to do.
So after cutting and pasting and resizing the fonts, I got myself all I need in my cheat sheet by 1am, after which we took a cab and rushed home to ZZZZZZ

THURSDAY

Oral communication final exams!
I had prepped the speech and practiced mine a few times, thing is I always overshot the time limit, so found myself adjusting the different parts to shorten it, most of the class did persuasive speeches on going to places though, like Jae won and Erick, one speaking about Genting while the other talked about Korea...pretty cool.

Mine was about service, which was really dry, but according to my friends, I pulled it off, but the QnA was so bad and draggy cause I couldn't think on my feet...lol...anyway I'm just glad that's over.
After the rush, the afternoon was gonna be accounting, so I took a quick meal at hans and ran up to class to begin the exam...which went pretty well so I was pretty glad the cheat sheet was really useful, all that staying up till 1am in sch sure paid off =)

FRIDAY

Art exams began in the morning, which was a killer, but it ended up ok, for some reason during the exam, the constant flicking of my pen, which was a common habit for me, ended up with me having marks all over my right arm.
Art was tough, but it was open book so eventually we got most of the answers

I later head down to the Spinworkx shop to collect some Aodas I got Cheng to pass to me...and by some I mean 5 =)
Pretty neat, I've always wondered what it was like to play with a hubstack yoyo, so now I got one, and it's pretty fun, don't think it'll last though.
I later went down to the Career Fair held at one of the exhibition halls to find my school mates who were representing UNLV, and came upon this culinary school which had a chef who kept making asparagus with some XO sauce or sth, but just displayed them to my dismay, and not give it out as samples...RUT.
I was pretty surprised though, that one of our photo shoots ended up in the MICE brochure, a course I wasn't even taking in the first place...lol, pretty neat though.
So I got to take a picture of the students and admin staff who were there before I left, too bad the camera wasn't quick enuff and took quite a weird pic of Adam, sorry!
I later then headed down to find Zhirong and the guys to pass him his set of Aodas, and had this dish for dinner which was really intriguing!Apparently it's butter-king pork ribs!! U know pork ribs with rice? It's always that redish sauce? Apparently this dish was invented by the stall, which had the concept of butter prawns fused into it, REALLY GOOD! Really sinful too actually...but for $4.50 with an extra egg, it was worth every bite =)
So afterwards I went down to the shop and got Zhirong to fix the apparently badly-done concave bearing which was given in the Aoda package...and after hanging out for awhile, our day ended at midnight.

SUNDAY

I went down to the shop early to help jaga while Colin had to entertain a client elsewhere.
So armed with my "lunch", I sat down and wasted my time away, and came across this really hilarious book Colin and Hans bought that I found to be so amusing. =)
Haha, I swear I haven't seen anything like it! I peaked through a lil and found some amusing phrases like this one
Lol I really dunno where these two ppl source out such outrageously funny books. =)

Anyway Sunday was also the day we went down to Raffles MRT to perform at the National Vertical Marathon.
I have to say though, the weather had really affected the crowd, but nonetheless, the performance was really good, better than I had expected, with more interactions than what you would get from an older group of ppl.

All in all this week was really dry, but at the same time pretty ok.

Wow I've been blogging for an hour, better sleep now

You guys have a great week ahead, cheers ppl =)
