One Day LAte

Gosh I've been so tired for the past few days....nowadays I find myself knocking out while sitting on my chair watching episodes of CSI

It's either I'm getting seriously bored of the show, or the lack of sleep is taking a toll on my body.

Maybe it's just both.

WEDNESDAY

Jade, Jenny and Kelly suggested to some of us to have lunch at this recently new restaurant called the Tsubaki which apparently served pretty good Japanese food. Since Jenny had some discount offer on the lunch sets there, we got about 6 ppl and headed down to the Riverpoint mall at Clarke Quay to go give the meal a try.
Since Jenny made a reservation, we got a private room which was really cool
When you wanna make an order, you just hit the button and in less than a minute a server will appear to entertain you...cool huh? =)

I personally don't like the idea though, I'm still more into the whole "server and customer" relationship thingy....but still an interesting concept indeed. =)
Oh and check out the view from the room, how cool is that? =D
so the six of us include Jenny, Jade, Sophie, Kelly, Chestine and Me.

Gosh there are so little guys in our school sometimes I feel more like I'm part of a sisterhood. lol
I must admit the food was really good, though it was a tad little, but it was a discounted price so we didnt really complain much.

I got the tempura set which even came with green tea salt which was really interesting...although to me I thought it tasted pretty much like regular salt, only green.
Dessert also came along with the meal, sth simple like Vanilla icecream, which really hit the spot by the end of the meal...yum =)
We were a lil late for class, but luckily nth important was missed...and the lunch was well worth the slight lateness. =)

FRIDAY
Accounting has been really stressful, but so far I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I spent the evening in school trying to figure out some of the accounting problems I've learnt so far trying to recap whatever I've kinda forgot.

So since I was a lil lazy to go out for dinner, I whipped out one of these.
I got this at Cheers supermarket(although the instructions seem to favour 7-11 isntead...lol) and figured I'd give it a try.

I must admit local instant noodles are getting better and better these days, what with ppl coming up with better ways to serve instant meals to ppl who are lazy like me and don't wanna go out and eat. =)
Oh and not to mention, the meat they gave, was pretty good, it was FRESH like u'd get from a supermarket, but definitely edible and wasn't all that bad.

I think I'll go buy me another one some time soon to stock up for more late nights in school...lol.

SATURDAY

Chingay rehearsals are getting more demanding as the days get closer and closer to the actual performance.

We met at Kallang MRT at 1pm to get ready for a long day which would end some time around 10pm
I got Yingxiu to help take a photo of this for me, though a lil to close to the centre, I like the fact that the macro indeed helped make the photo pretty nice enough to be my computer desktop photo =)
So the day started really slow, most of us just doing our stuff cause it was really boring....but then came the makeup session...
Like the kids they were, some of them ran away and started laughing at each other about the make up and stuff....but after awhile, all of them settled in and sat down to get their faces done.
Now isn't this one of the SEXIEST photos you've ever seen? =P
As though that wasn't bad enough, next came the costumes...which looked like they were stolen from some Aaron Kwok Live Concert Wardrobe.
Lionel later came along to check us out, he's been busy doing the NUS performance he couldn't help out for this performance...we figured since we were all in make up and costume, what better way than to pose for a shot we'll definitely regret taking soon enough? =)
Isn't that just God Awful??? haha
Ofcourse, we weren't the only ppl who had digusting uniforms to wear.
Float pushers got green, backup dancers got Blue and the hiphop dance group Flair Nation got Orange, which I think was the better looking costume of the entire group.

It rained for quite awhile and we had absolutely nth to do till the evening, but by then the rehearsals were about to begin...SHOW TIME
HAHAHA!!! i'm in love with this picture =)
A lot of the floats looked like they really took a lot of time to build, and the prettiest came from the Signapore Tourism Board and Singapore Pools....I mean...they got all the money right? What else would u expect from them? lol.

Overall the performance was pretty neat...although the rain was kidna bad...worse still, my phone got wet!!! ACK!
Those cloud-like looking streaks u see, that's not clouds, that's water!!! and I spent the next 8 hours sandwiching my phone between two hot plates to evaporate the liquid, which left very ugly stains on my LCD panel...sigh...

Lol k la well I guess I can't complain much, the whole rehearsal was indeed a success, and I can't wait to get it over with so I can concentrate on more important things like my classes and such.

Well it's late, 1:30 am on a tuesday EARLY morning.

I better get some rest, u guys have a great Week ahead, and sorry for the late entry.

Cheers Ppl

Andrew
