I found the matches they use to light up those little suckers!
I know their the smallest i've ever held...haha. Apparently the head chef at our restaurant had this in his locker for quite some time now and figured he didn't want it anymore, so I took it. =)
I have no idea what I'll do with it, I don't smoke. but hey, it'd make a great souvenir I guess.
This week was pretty mild, like chilli sauce from heinz is mild compared to chilli padi.
My flu wasn't totally over, so I was really down the first few days of school.
I tried Panadol...ha, like that's gonna help. I took Juju Bees....strepsils....woods....the works.
NOTHING...the flu's probably due to the lack of sleep. which means I'll need more of it...better catch up on that one of these days....not the first few days of the week though, busy...
Tuesday night I finally got my Yokomo RC Drift car working again after all the lil kinks it had for the past few weeks....I'm so glad it's working!! And it's a mighty fine drifter too~!!!
I got to take pics of some of the cars present from my camera phone, boy I'm glad it's working great!
which SUCKS
SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!
It was like walking inside a huge sauna, which really wasn't helping my flu whatsoever...sigh
anyway so I managed to leave early cause I had a test to study for on Friday. When I walked into the Esplanade however, I couldnt help but stop to check out the performance that was about to start.
I have to say I've got little interest in piano...partly cause when I was young I used to love it, then my mum got me one, made me practice all day....got me a tutor, sent me to Yamaha school...made it a chore, when i didnt wanna play she'd cane me, forced me to practice 1-2 hrs a day....it got so out of control I HATED pianos after that.
Really....I'm still not talking to her.
But anyway I do have to admit this guy is really good, and he's one funny speaker as well, lots of witty comments in front of the audience...a natural speaker. It was just for one night, hopefully u guys will see him around again soon enough =)
I went to school today, on a Sunday.
I tend to force myself to go to school on Sundays.
No I'm no geek..I just figured that if I were to stay in school long enough among students who do study, I MIGHT pick up a book. I MIGHT start copying notes. I MIGHT get some additional homework research done. If I were to stay at home, I'll NEVER get it done. that's the way it is, so yeah, I force myself to school on sundays after work to hopefuly do something.
Has that work? To be honest, YES, many times by the way =)
Anyway today the weather was REALLY bad...no rain by the way, but the sky was so threatening...and then it happened.
In just a couple of minutes, flashes of lightning filled the sky...and caught my attention.
I just realized that I had the perfect amateur camera to take the perfect amateur shot of lightning bolts!
HAHa.so random right? I'm no nature sorta person, but I figured I'd give it a try.
I spent the next 10-15 minutes kneeling by the window, with my camera pressed against the window pane, and my face starring straight into the sky.......I waited...and waited.
Strike one! I took a picture....TOO LATE! ARGH!
Strike two! FAILED AGAIN!
Then I remembered....BestPic function! U know the one tat takes 4 before and 4 after ur initial picture?
What a GREAT FEATURE!
At night I went for dinner with Robert opposite Bugis where I had this Ayam Penyet which was pretty good.
Spicy, but pretty good.
I dun care if it makes me sweat like I just came back from a run, spicy food, if done right, tastes GREAT! And this dish was REALLY good by the way.
I do recommend ppl trying it....it's opposite bugis, u know, where the duck rice is....go give it a try, $4 only!
Lol...
K well I gtg, it's running late...need to sleep.
U guys have a great week ahead, cheers man
Andrew
