Half here half there...

So life's still pretty unadjusted.

Really, no kidding.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Critical Thinking, which...really, has nothing to do with critical thinking about certain scenarios at all...more like, analyzing and breaking down the definition of Critical Thinking...real deep...as in I'm in real deep trouble if I don't "catch ball" soon enuff.

Tuesday our school decided to celebrate our 1st year anniversary since we opened, pretty interesting, I had no school that day but came back to check it out anyway.

*All UNLV pictures were taken by Jae's camera from my class, I didn't take them cause I had a crappy camera.

Jae's the guy talking to the lady at the door, that's me at the left leaning and obviously engrossed in some sms conversation.

The stage's pretty well done up, I hear the first batch of students were the ones planning the event, nice going. =)

That's M.C. and Delphine...two ppl from my class, the girl's an AC-girl while MC's a pretty cool guy from Korea.

I'm in the picture if u can spot me =)
That's Dr. Andy, our Dean who gave us a short interesting speech outside the class.
That's Mr George Tanasijevich, GM/VP of Singapore Development Marina Sands Pte Ltd giving us a speech about the new Marina Sands IR...pretty nice guy, in fact one of the students from Rebel 2 knows him in person.
These are just some of the ppl from my class Rebel 3.

If you're wondering why I'm posting more girl pictures than guys, it's really because there are more girls in my class then there are guys...in fact, there are more Koreans in my class than locals or other foreigners, it feels more like UNLV Korea than UNLV Singapore...lol.

I dunno all their names yet, remember I only hang out in my class twice a week, and twice at Rebel 2 where I learn...TRY to learn Critical Thinking.

Anyway the event was pretty fun, some left early, I left around 2...3? Had an appointment with the SGDrifters down at Serangoon that night.

So what do WE, as in classmates, do when we're not studying?

EAT!

And Bugis sure has some pretty good places to grab a bite...which is where my money has been going to for the pass 2 weeks.

Eating...
and eating...

K well so far there's more but no pictures which I took.

I liked the "Lai Lai" Ramen store though...taiwan style noodle house which offered alot for quite a decent price.

But of course, food aside, school is tough...and really tiring.

I've never been more tired than I was when in camp!

Often enough, I find myself craving a cup of coffee, which is what I got myself on Friday when I had only 4 hours to sleep the night before cause I spent my time in school studying/talking/wandering around till 10pm with Adam, Chestine, Junita and that guy whose name I can't remember..urgh!!!

Yep, school's probably one place I never thought I'd see myself hanging out...but really, it's so quiet there after school hours, u can really study...well...if you wanted to...but I mean, with everyone else still in class doing it(everyone....meaning, the Koreans really), u kinda get in the flow of things as well and study along.

But anyway, yeah...coffee, really important...especially last Friday.
That's cause I had to go down to Black Angus to accompany some of the guys clubbing since 3 ppl were leaving, Siti, Tim and Gopi....2's going to the Army, while Siti's starting her SHATEC attachment at Shangrila some time real soon.
Our manager Sammy gave the guys a bottle of Tequila which he purchased about a decade ago I think, which tasted really good!!! I'm no fan of alcohol, and don't really drink hard liquor, but making Tequila Pop with this was really good, and smooth too....but the kick after that...ouch!!!

We went to Zouk instead of MOS, but it was really crowded that day, maybe because it was ORD day!! =) Yep, by the way I've ORD loh!!!

I dunno why but I don't seem as excited as most of the other ppl, I guess it's really cause I'm gonna miss the guys back at camp.

Anyway we left Zouk at around 4am, which mean I've been up for....what...well over 22 hours now??? Yep...need sleep.

So I knocked out till 2pm the next day for the usual yoyo meet.

Seems like there's alot of issues that I'm not aware of that's going on among the yoyo players recently....what with politics and such causing ppl to be pissed with each other..whatever it is, I hope it passes, really, its a hobby, let's not drag it too far.

Oh and TPS is opening again, I guess it's good to see more ppl intending to go pro...let's hope it doesn't spoil the market, last thing I wanna see is Spinworkx fall...I mean, no more SYYC and AP??? Well....let's not go there yet, we'll see how things go.

So SUNDAY

Some of u may know that NTUC has now branched out into value and high-end supermarkets.

I went to NTUC Finest this morning with my dad to pick up stuff for home, and WOW.
I didn't take much photos...ok I did, but most were washed out, like I said, terrible camera phone....where's that k850???
I liked the layout of the place though...very clean, although the music was just too cheerful for me...kinda reminded me...well..of the Stepford wives...haha.

Oh and check out the square watermelons...$68...ouch!!! Sure do look like a cool novelty gift though.

Yeah, well it's been a really long entry, my fingers are tired and I need a break, dinner's coming and I gotta sleep early(try to sleep early) for classes tmr.

Takecare peeps, cheers!

Andrew
