So Boring........

Sigh.....

So after 2 whole weeks of stress due to work and judging yoyo competitions(ok that wasn't so stress, but still alot of responsibility...judge leh! =P), there's this sudden anti-climax as my usual routine slowly comes back again.

Camp's been pretty boring so far, all that audit crap's over...now I just spend time trying to teach Nikhil my understudy the roles and responsibilities of being the next mileage, orientations and driver incentives clerk.

So far the guy's coping well, and just like me I don't really like the work cause it's tedious, but someone's gotta do it, plus after a lot of practice on the keyboard, the typing gets better through time so I guess now it's just routine and I finish most of my stuff before the middle of the month...Nikhil's still a bit behind, but he'll catch up soon enough.

See. so bored la! I'm actually talking about my stale and oh-so-dull life in camp.

Fine, I'll go ahead and force myself to post a picture.

THIS, is what I've been doing during my free time in camp...I got it awhile back from my friend and since I had quite some time to myself in the bunk most nights, I figured I'd get to it. My last kit took me 1 1/2 hours to assemble, this one took longer, partly cause I didn't wanna rush like the previous time and screw up some of the parts...this one's perfect. It now sits at home, waiting to get it's guts fitted and hopefully when I actually DO find time I'll take it out for a spin. =D

YEP...boys will be boys.

Oh......and I finally got my approval into the University of Nevada Las Vegas Singapore, YEAH!!! Where is it? At the National Library at Bugis!!!

BUGIS!!!!

K I'm no big fan of hanging out at town very often, but I guess something different for a change would be good...plus I love the location, on the 10th floor, you can see out of the library windows into Bugis Street below...definitely beats being confine in windowless rooms of SHATEC.

A good thing though, if you're a SHATEC student, you shave off 31 credits from your 128 credits which you have to score...that's 97 credits to deal with only, 1/4 of your degree's complete!! Plus 1/4 off your school fees means a saving of more than $16,000!!!!!!

K yeah it's a pretty expensive degree..and ppl ask "why the hell would u like to join the hotel industry?"

Iono, I like the service line? Yeah.I can actually say that without flinching.

I love it, so the hours may be long the you might have to commit to it more than other jobs, but at least you meet ppl from all over the world every minute every day.

I consider that a plus point. =)

Anyway, after not entering ANY library for the past 7 years, I took some time to walk around this one and came across a section which was show casing the IR resort at marina...really nice. Check out their construction plans.

I REALLY wouldn't mind working at a place like that in future.

You can check it out, I think it's at the 7th floor of the NLB. They got a video interview of the architect as well so you'll get more insight on why he designed the IR building at Marina that way.

There.

I'm outta things to say. So I'll just show you pictures of another bowl of Goota Noodles I tried. =)

So this bowl I got from my dad when he was on his trip to japan. I asked for a variety but all I got was quantity.....14 bowls of the same flavour to be exact.

Lol not that I'm complaining, this one tastes slightly different from the other bowls I've reviewed, the soups a lot clearer and it has a "cleaner" taste compared to the much thicker broths the other bowls had.

Oh...and that white ball, it's a quill's egg.

YES!!! Since when do you see such perfection in a bowl of noodles???

Lol I'm sooooooo going to try and find time within the next 2 years to try and pay a visit to the land of the rising sun JUST for the food....Osaka....MMMMMM.

Speaking of food, it's dinner time, Father's Day.

You guys don't forget to wish Pops happy father's day, as for me, I'm gonna tell him I just spent $35 on his credit card on two polo Ts at G2000 in Vivo City

WHAT? I'm paying him back what....just that DBS cards give u an added 10% discount......Great Singapore Sale man!!! Plus I'm in dire need of new clothes, I've got nothing since I only wear my uniform in camp and seldom put on casual clothes.

K...Hungry...Dinner

Cheers ppl. =)
