Dinner at Oasis Taiwan Porridge with Babe and her Mum. The one that used to be near the Kallang Stadium, now located at Toa Payoh.
Lunch w Babe, Hans n Colin at Ang Mo Kio market...wonton noodles and carrot cake.
Dinner at 2nd Mini Steamboat located at Novena area...really good! The fish glue was pretty ok, the Tom Yam soup was surprisingly drinkable, and the dishes that we ordered were rather fantastic not to mention the chicken stock was pretty sweet! For the price being almost double that of Joo Chiat, it's still no fight.
Dinner last night at SMITHS Fish n Chips at Tanjong Katong. Probably the most sinful meal so far the past month...deep fried delights! An order of chips can cost about $17-18, we had one order of Cod and another order of Haddock fish. The serving size is really good, and the amount of fish in the batter is waaaaaaaay bigger than what you'd expect, none of that 80% batter 20% fish ratio. They even serve Mushy Peas which is very british if you ask me...not my thing, but we tried it since we were there. Overall a nice place but not one I'd go very often cause of how sinful it is!
