I noticed that my Vans have been with me since November last year. Now I don't buy a whole lot of shoes, I'm not the kind who'd buy a few pairs and cycle them on a regular basis. I take one pair, wear till it's almost busted, and then buy a new one.
Since I hadn't spent my CNY money, I figured I'd go ahead and got me a new pair of Vans, didn't matter where it came from as long as it looked decent. Was eyeing a pair of black Chuukas but the recent ones with their green lining wasn't appealing to me.
Thing I don't like about Vans is some times they can make good shoes, some times they have really shitty ones, like my Chukkas which lasted me only a few months. I'm hoping with these pair I'd be able to replace mine only some time nearing the end of 2011 or beginning of 2012.
The second pair of shoes was quite the last minute decision. I've been taking a look at Vibrams for awhile now but never really got the motivation to buy it, I mean, New Balance shoes seem perfect already, light, and "free". But then when there was a huge discount of about $89 on a pair of brand new KSOs, I figured I'd give it a try, after all I've been going FF for quite some time now, and although admittedly I think it's too early to see any benefits, since I've already adapted to it, might as well stick to it all the way.
Two new shoes for the new year, one which I might start wearing this week to season, think it's rather attention seeking though, I still swear they are rather ugly, but since when was running glamorous?

Ya man, bo bian leh, I think I wasn't poisoned by him, I was poisoned by that stupid Nexus S commercial I posted a few entries down....didn't know got such a colorway. lol
